Quantitative Research Capacities

  • ARM is one of the research agencies in Myanmar conducting Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) in Myanmar.
  • ARM has the technical and technological capacity to run large-scale quantitative research projects across the country.
  • Our field team is equipped with 200 part time personnel who can be rapidly deployed. The entire team is tertiary educated, they undergo training tailored to each specific project, and members within the team speak multiple languages.
  • Data collection, entry and processing is made easy with our large collection of tablets. Data is processed through NIPO, and then tabulated through advanced statistic software.

Qualitative Research Capacities and Quality Assurance

ARM Public has multiple checks and balances in place to ensure that data is collected with the most rigorous quality control standards.

  • Over-recruitment

Although we aim to have 6 participants in each FGD, we will recruit 8 individuals, to ensure that there are always enough respondents for the research.

  • Back-checks on those recruited

A quality assurance monitor can work independently to the team to conduct back-checks of those recruited to participate in the interviews, through a combination of phone and live, in-person checks

  • Senior review of notes

All notes in the thematic matrices will be reviewed by the Senior Research Manager in order to ensure that they meet the highest standards.

  • Open doors

Clients are free to visit our office, witness field operations and review all materials associated with their project.

Data Analysis

  • All of our quantitative projects require us to collect and present data in a manner that is conducive to either of us, or the client, conducting multivariate analysis.
  • From the very beginning of a project, we work closely with the client to understand the research question and study objectives, so that the data we produce can be easily synthesized to provide critical insight. We will work with you to design the internal logic within a questionnaire to ensure smooth analysis and determine the variables that are worth isolating to dive deeper into the findings.
  • We have experiences in running different regression models.
  • Our dedication to data quality aids the analysis process and ensures findings can be considered accurate within the boundaries and limitations of the study.
